THE BRIEF

Radius Aerospace faced significant challenges, mainly due to poor service from their incumbent supplier, and they also sought to reduce the number of devices, cut costs, and improve security to protect sensitive information. The existing arrangement with a worldwide manufacturer presented service issues, including delays in parts and ETA updates. Radius Aerospace preferred to work with a regional supplier and required a strong service element.

ACS IT Services adopted a consultative approach, recognising that a one-size-fits-all solution would not suffice. We thoroughly assessed the current fleet, printing volumes for each department, security issues, and service challenges such as delayed ETAs and unresponsive support. We emphasised flexibility and reliability, ensuring ACS IT Services was available five days a week, maintaining fully stocked levels to prevent shortages, and offering next-day or same-day engineer services if needed. An escalation process was established to provide peace of mind. Additionally, ACS IT Services arranged for the sustainable and secure disposal of existing equipment, including wiping all hard drives and providing waste certification.

ACS IT Services won the tender process by presenting a value-add proposition that offered peace of mind and a uniform HP fleet. This approach saved Radius Aerospace money and addressed their security concerns with a Follow me Papercut solution, which provided better visibility of the printing landscape, reducing costs/waste and improved reporting systems. The consultative approach and responsive service ensured that Radius Aerospace's needs were met effectively, resulting in smoother operations.
